Warrior Holistic Care for Problematic Piercings Occasionally, a piercing may not seem to be healing properly. This can be caused by many different factors. Sometimes the piercing just hasn't had a good chance to heal right due to excessive contact with hands, turning the jewelry while it's dry, etc. Regardless of where you may have received your piercing, Warrior has found proven methods of solving these problem pierces. It is usually recommended that a trained authorized Warrior Piercer determines which course of action to take. Pleasecontact us if you have any questions. Type 1.
A few fresh CLEAN gauze pads or paper towels.Dissolve the salt in the water and microwave at high for 60 seconds, make sure the water is very HOT. Soak the paper towels or gauze pads and apply the compress to the pierce allowing the heat to penetrate the piercing. It may be neccessary to squeeze the pierce to allow any fluid build up to drain. The compress will lose its heat quickly so this must be repeated often, usually about 6 or 8 times per session, 2 or 3 sessions a day. This must be done every day until the problem is solved. The use of an antibiotic ointment can be helpful when used SPARINGLY after the last few days of compresses are done. Do not use any ointment on a pierce unless advised to and no longer than two (2) days in a row. Type 2.
Type 3.
