How to care for a pierce:
Do's And Do Not's
DO: It is safe to
swim in a chlorinated pool or ocean water
DO: Return to any
Warrior
Piercing location within two weeks for a free check-up to ensure that
the pierce is healing well
DO NOT: Play with
your pierce, touch it, or turn it during the day unless you are cleaning
it. Doing so may prolong your healing time of the pierce and/or increase
complications with healing.
DO NOT: Use ointments,
creams, or antibacterial products unless told to do so by an authorized
Warrior
Piercer
DO NOT: Do not use
Dial, Lever 2000, Betadine, Bactine, or any liquid soap, as they contain
too many harsh chemicals that will interfere with proper healing.
DO NOT: Never let
anyone's bodily fluids (i.e. saliva, urine, blood, semen, perspiration,
etc.) come into contact with your healing pierce.
DO NOT: Do not expose
your pierce to pets; dander fur and fleas are not good for a healing pierce.
DO NOT: Make sure
you do not restrain, pull, hang, tug or in any way or form put pressure
on a healing pierce. This will stop you pierce from healing.
Be aware of your clothing that it does not constrain against your piercing.
DO NOT: Do not let
other people touch your pierce during its healing time.
Following these instructions will help
avoid any problems that may occur during the healing time of any pierce.
Use common sense, be good to yourself and your new piercing.
